Junior Digital Verification Engineer

About the role

Bosch Sensortec, a technology leader in MEMS-based sensing solutions for consumer electronics, is looking for a Junior Digital Verification Engineer to join its international semiconductor team. You will verify advanced digital and mixed-signal ASICs using modern verification methodologies, leading EDA tools and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reusable verification environments for complex ICs to ensure robust quality and accelerate first silicon bring-up.
• Apply functional and formal verification methods to validate digital designs and catch issues early.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple international locations in a globally distributed team.
• Contribute from concept definition through design, verification and qualification phases.
• Document and improve verification processes, methodologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Either little experience or interest in ASIC/SoC verification, or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field focused on semiconductor design and verification.
• Degree (Diploma or M.Sc.) in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent with outstanding results.
• Proficiency in English (C1).
• Self-driven, quality-oriented team player who works independently and collaborates in international teams.

Required skills

• ASIC verification methodologies, including UVM, formal verification and directed verification.
• Digital circuit design: VHDL/Verilog, digital IP, implementation, integration and verification.
• Verification environment development and debugging for mixed-signal or SoC designs.
• Simulation, verification and EDA tools.
• Analog and mixed-signal modeling (wreal, MATLAB/Simulink, SystemC).
• Power-aware verification and simulation (UPF).
• Scripting and automation with Python, Tcl or similar.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary (RAL) within the range of EUR 35,000 to 40,000 for a 40-hour week, depending on experience.
