Junior Financial Controller

About the role

As a Junior Financial Controller you will support the finance team in preparing financial reports, analysing performance, and driving cost‑control initiatives. You will work closely with holding and portfolio companies, project managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial information and to back business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts.
• Support the improvement and streamlining of controlling processes and workflows.
• Analyse performance versus budget, identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with holding and portfolio companies to ensure effective information flow.
• Serve as the primary financial contact for project managers of portfolio startups.
• Prepare financial reports for investors and the Board of Directors.
• Deliver dashboards, KPIs and performance reports to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in controlling or finance, preferably in P&C.
• Solid accounting background with a good understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, cost‑benefit analysis and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, teamwork and flexibility skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a commitment to business objectives.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
