Junior Internal Auditor

About the role

Join Datalogic's Group Internal Audit Department as a Junior Internal Auditor, based at the headquarters in Lippo di Calderara (BO). You will work closely with senior auditors and management, gaining cross‑functional exposure and contributing to strategic initiatives across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute operational, compliance and financial audits across Group processes and subsidiaries.
• Report key findings, define action items and support process owners in implementing improvements.
• Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Partner with process owners to mitigate risks, close gaps and promote optimisation initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable 231 Law requirements and support reporting to corporate bodies.
• Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate internal audit management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit or advisory services, preferably with a Big 4 firm or a multinational group.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to six weeks per year.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of internal audit, risk management and internal control frameworks (COSO, ERM).
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Hyperion) and data‑analytics tools (Power BI, Qlik).
• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
