Junior IT Specialist – Entry Level IT Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Specialist to join Honda’s R&D office in Rome. This entry‑level position offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience in technical support, systems administration and networking while contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by end users.
• Install, configure and maintain workstations, laptops and printers.
• Follow company cybersecurity policies and assist with endpoint security and vulnerability management.
• Report potential security incidents and promote security awareness.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Basic understanding of databases.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Basic networking concepts (LAN, IP addressing).
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with end users.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
