Junior SOC Analyst – Hybrid (Bari)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior SOC Analyst to join Deloitte NextHub’s Security Operations team in Bari. Working in a hybrid setting, you will support the detection and response to cyber threats for our clients, collaborating closely with senior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM and related tools.
• Participate in cyber threat hunting activities.
• Assist in the analysis, design, and review of processes and technology solutions for incident management.
• Support SOC/CERT operations and contribute to continuous improvement of security monitoring.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, AI or related technical field.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and EDR solutions.
• Experience with system administration tools such as Microsoft Active Directory, routers, firewalls, switches, load balancers, WAF and IPS.
