Junior Software Developer

About the role

devDept is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join its Bologna office. You will support international customers using devDept’s CAD control components across aerospace, manufacturing, construction, mining and health‑care sectors. The role involves working with Microsoft Visual Studio, issue‑tracking, requirements management and continuous‑integration tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to international customers.
• Create and maintain source‑code samples and proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Write unit tests under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborate with the development team to improve code quality and documentation.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of object‑oriented programming and C#.
• Interest in design patterns, refactoring techniques and agile programming practices.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Good English proficiency and a motivated, team‑player attitude.
