Junior Tax Consultant – Bologna

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Junior Tax Consultant to join its Tax Team in Bologna. You will work with a network of tax and legal experts, providing advice on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse issues related to direct and indirect taxation and provide ongoing advice to companies.
• Offer opinions on Italian and international tax topics such as CFC rules, blacklists, permanent establishments and withholding tax.
• Assess the tax implications of extraordinary transactions including mergers, de‑mergers and contributions.
• Conduct tax due‑diligence reviews and ensure tax compliance for clients.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business or Law.
• Intent to pursue a professional qualification as a chartered accountant or lawyer.
• Strong English proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and organisational abilities.
• Flexible, dynamic and proactive attitude.
