Junior Web Applications & Systems Developer

About the role

Bioagricert, a FoodChain ID company, is looking for a motivated junior professional to join its application development team. You will help evolve the company’s digital platforms, designing and implementing web applications, services and integrations that support organic certification, sustainability and food safety processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve business web applications with modern, user‑friendly interfaces.
• Design and implement application services and REST APIs.
• Support digitalisation of business processes and translate new requirements into functional features.
• Integrate Bioagricert platforms with FoodChain ID Group systems and create data‑exchange services.
• Contribute to the evolution of the application architecture toward modern web‑based solutions.
• Collaborate with international teams (US, Brazil) to harmonise digital processes.
• Identify, evaluate and propose new technological solutions.
• Help define development standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Curiosity and passion for technological innovation.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Relational databases and SQL
• REST APIs and systems integration concepts
• C# and the .NET platform (preferred)
• Microsoft Azure cloud environment (preferred)
• Modern front‑end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) (preferred)
• Web service development and service‑oriented architectures (preferred)
