Key Account Manager - End Customer (Remote, Rome)

About the role

Axis Communications, a Swedish IT company focused on security surveillance and remote monitoring, is hiring a Key Account Manager for end customers. This is a remote-based role based in Rome. The post holder drives sales for selected end customer companies, develops and implements business plans for existing and new large end customers, evaluates annual targets and closes projects within the account list, and works with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Sales Engineers and Post-sales Support to manage a 360-degree customer relationship.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sales targets, KPIs and development of the assigned accounts, developing business plans and mapping them
• Manage accounts strategically to deepen the relationship across products, solutions and geography, influencing major stakeholders and ecosystem partners
• Take part in selected associations, trade shows, market events and congresses to raise brand awareness and spot new opportunities
• Maintain and share key account information in Salesforce

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and/or Business Administration
• 5+ years in sales in Italy, national or key accounts for large end customers
• Experience with indirect B2B sales; knowledge of network infrastructure preferred
• Ability to build strategic relationships and strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Fluent Italian and good written and spoken English
