Key Account Manager – Energy Storage (Italy)

About the role

Join Sungrow as an Energy Storage System (ESS) Key Account Manager, driving the growth of cutting‑edge storage solutions across Italy. You will act as the bridge between our technology and the expanding market, ensuring customers receive complete, competitive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage ESS clients and projects throughout Italy.
• Gather client requirements and coordinate with technical and service teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and market strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Represent Sungrow at national and international fairs and congresses.
• Provide periodic sales forecasts, reports, and market research to inform strategy.
• Achieve yearly sales targets and increase Sungrow’s local market share.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field, with an affinity for electrical engineering.
• Minimum two years of experience in technical sales, business development, project development or project management, preferably in solar or energy‑storage.
• Strong knowledge of photovoltaics, inverters and Balance of System (BOS) components.
• Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); Chinese is a plus.
• Proficient with MS‑Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel regularly both domestically and internationally.
