Lead Account Solution Engineer - Informatica

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Account Solution Engineer to join the Informatica Pre‑Sales team, supporting customers across the South region and beyond Italy. The role combines technical expertise with sales partnership to drive adoption of Informatica solutions within Salesforce.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery, technical qualification, and delivery of customer demos, presentations, and standard product demos.
• Respond to RFI/RFP requests, manage customer engagements, and collaborate with Salesforce Data Foundations, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Provide technical advisory, workshops, and nurture activities with the Customer Success team to support adoption.
• Share best practices, maintain certifications, and give product feedback to influence roadmap.

Required profile

• 5+ years of pre‑sales, technical sales, consulting, or industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent English and Italian, with ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with prospects, influencers, and decision makers.

Required skills

• Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
• Data integration, master data management, and data governance products.
• Hybrid software deployment, cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Basic knowledge of cloud security and certification of cloud services.

What we offer

• Base salary range EUR 70,425 – EUR 94,200 per year.
