Legal Counsel – Commercial & Corporate Law

About the role

Haier Europe is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support its ambitious growth across the region. You will work closely with business units and senior legal staff, providing commercial and regulatory guidance while helping to shape the company’s legal strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and commercial contracts.
• Assist internal stakeholders in contract implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and mitigating legal risks.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice on commercial, consumer, contractual, regulatory and product‑compliance matters.
• Support pre‑litigation management, dispute resolution, and coordination with external counsel.
• Contribute legal expertise to cross‑functional projects and regional initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior legal team members on strategic issues while building autonomy over recurring workstreams.
• Drive digital transformation of the legal function by improving processes, workflows, templates and tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law from an Italian university.
• 2‑3 years of experience as in‑house counsel for internationally active companies or in a law firm advising corporate clients on cross‑border matters.
• Strong background in contract law and commercial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, matrix‑structured environment with international exposure.
