Legal Counsel – Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover) – Italy

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Legal department in Parma on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. The role will provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal support to ATS Group’s Italian entities, helping them achieve strategic objectives while managing legal and compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, including Legislative Decree 231/2001.
• Draft, review, negotiate and implement a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Support internal stakeholders on supplier, customer and partner relationships.
• Manage dispute and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Handle leasing, real‑estate, and employment‑related legal issues.
• Promote adherence to corporate policies, internal controls and contracting procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a degree in Law and admission to the Italian Bar.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in corporate, commercial or compliance law.
• Strong understanding of Italian commercial legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional teams.
