Legal Counsel – IT & Commercial Law

About the role

As a member of the Allianz Technology Group Legal Department, you will provide business‑oriented legal advice to protect the interests of Allianz Technology S.p.A. across all IT and commercial law matters, excluding tax law. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and represent the company with external partners and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to all management levels and staff on IT and commercial matters.
• Monitor, research and address emerging legal issues within the company.
• Draft, negotiate and review IT contracts (software licences, SaaS, outsourcing, technology partnerships) and commercial service agreements.
• Support compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, DORA, AI Act and internal governance policies.
• Develop risk‑mitigation measures and raise legal awareness across the organisation.
• Collaborate with the global Allianz Technology legal community to enhance practices.
• Conduct trainings and keep abreast of national and international legislative developments.
• Oversee and coordinate external counsel when required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Italian law or equivalent qualification enabling practice in Italy.
• At least 2 years of experience as an in‑house attorney or at an international law firm focusing on IT, commercial or contract law.
• Excellent command of Italian and English.
• Strong understanding of the business environment and ability to work in an international setting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, well‑organized, with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Independent, detail‑oriented and capable of advising senior management.

• Starting annual compensation from €76,000.
