Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will join K‑Way’s legal team, reporting directly to the Head of Legal. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and managing commercial contracts while ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risk across the brand’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and administer a wide range of commercial agreements, including agency, distribution, lease, vendor and service contracts.
• Provide legal advice on commercial law matters such as consumer law, e‑commerce, intellectual property and retail‑related issues.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies; conduct legal research and summarize new developments.
• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters, manage disputes and support the development of litigation strategies.
• Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) and balance legal risk with business objectives.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in commercial and corporate legal matters, preferably in a corporate legal department and a law firm.
• Strong expertise in contract law with proven ability to handle complex commercial agreements.
• Experience with agency, distribution or commercial lease agreements is a plus.
• Background in fashion, retail or consumer goods is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
