Live-in House Manager / Majordomo – Luxury Tuscan Estate

About the role

We are seeking a live‑in House Manager / Majordomo to run a historic Tuscan estate located 45 minutes outside Florence. The successful candidate will ensure flawless daily operations, oversee staff, and deliver a world‑class experience for the principals and their guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a dedicated team of household staff, ensuring high morale and performance.
• Plan and control the estate’s budget, financial reporting and cost‑control measures.
• Coordinate maintenance, service standards, and liaison with contractors and external suppliers.
• Manage guest itineraries, arrivals, departures, dining services and events.
• Supervise agricultural activities, vineyards and olive groves, and support new facility projects.
• Develop and implement service procedures, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a House Manager or Majordomo in a UHNW private household or estate.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with a valid EU driving licence and right to work.
• Exceptional organisational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Discreet, proactive, service‑driven and able to maintain a harmonious working environment.
