Logistics Supervisor

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to plan and manage logistics activities that support its transport solutions. The role ensures smooth inbound and outbound flows, maintains inventory accuracy, and collaborates with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage inbound transportation for stock entry.
• Coordinate packing, shipping and outbound transportation with internal logistics providers and external suppliers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, handle scrap, and ensure data integrity across suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimise deliveries and stock levels.
• Control material flows in SAP (IM, WM, GSI) and related documentation.
• Optimise transport costs from internal and external warehouses.
• Handle courier and client communications for logistics issues.
• Oversee cost and invoice processing for transport and logistics suppliers.

Required profile

• Degree in Management Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of English.

Required skills

• SAP (Inventory Management and Warehouse Management modules).
• Advanced Excel.
• Invoice and purchase‑order tools such as Ariba and Inspire.
