Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is a core member of the Engineering & Facilities team at a five‑star luxury hotel. You will ensure that all hotel systems, equipment and physical assets operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or internal departments, minimizing disruption and preserving guest privacy.
• Maintain guest rooms, suites, public areas and service zones in pristine condition, adhering to luxury‑hotel standards.
• Check and service equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, lighting systems, fire‑alarm systems and elevators.
• Carry out carpentry, painting and minor construction or repair work to preserve aesthetic quality and structural integrity.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, ensuring safe execution and compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building or hotel maintenance, preferably in a high‑end hospitality environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff and external partners.
