Manufacturing Engineer – Process Improvement

About the role

Bosch is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive day‑to‑day engineering activities and solve production problems. You will work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Logistics to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and implement improvements in cost, quality, safety and delivery.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to existing processes.
• Support Design for Manufacturability initiatives.
• Create and maintain APQP documents such as PFMEA and flow charts.
• Develop set‑up and work instructions for production.
• Lead specification, design, build and launch of new processes and equipment.
• Participate in procurement, installation and run‑off of new machinery.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests and capacity planning.
• Develop preventive maintenance and spare‑parts plans.
• Maintain project timelines, budgets and engineering procedures.
• Coordinate training with maintenance and conduct regular audits (5S, LPA, workstation).

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Metallurgy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Experience with machining or heat‑treating processes preferred.
• Strong management, leadership and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
