Marketing & Communications Manager

About the role

The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead the planning and execution of all marketing, communication, media relations and stakeholder engagement activities for RX's events, products and services. This role shapes integrated strategies that boost brand awareness, drive customer acquisition and support commercial goals across B2B and B2C audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and coordinate online and offline marketing activities, including visual identity, messaging, promotional materials and brand positioning for shows.
• Develop and implement integrated media plans for Italian and international markets.
• Plan and manage sponsorship programmes and participation in third‑party events to increase visibility.
• Organise workshops, conferences, networking events and other engagement initiatives supporting business development.
• Create multimedia communication packages such as brochures, videos, digital assets, presentations and point‑of‑purchase materials.
• Manage hosted buyer programmes to enhance exhibitor and visitor acquisition and retention.
• Select, coordinate and evaluate external agencies, consultants and suppliers, including creative and media agencies.
• Support sales teams with tailored marketing materials, customer presentations and event‑related meeting management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably within events or exhibition industries.
• Strong ability to develop integrated marketing strategies and media plans.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work with multiple external partners.
• Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with creating multimedia communication assets (brochures, videos, digital assets).
• Knowledge of sponsorship programme planning and execution.
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C media planning.
