Marketing Director

About the role

Baccarat is launching its first luxury hotel in Rome and seeks a seasoned Marketing Director to shape the brand’s voice, positioning, and market presence from pre‑opening through launch and beyond. The role sits reporting to the General Manager and requires deep knowledge of Rome’s luxury, cultural, and lifestyle scene.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall marketing strategy and brand positioning for Baccarat Hotel Rome.
• Lead PR, communications, social media, content creation, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with local tastemakers, media, cultural institutions, artists, designers, and luxury brands.
• Design and manage partnerships, events, and activations that embed the hotel in Rome’s cultural conversation.
• Promote the hotel’s restaurants and bars as standalone destinations.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue, Operations, and Corporate Marketing to drive awareness and commercial performance.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience in marketing for luxury hotels or iconic luxury brands.
• Proven track record in luxury hospitality pre‑openings.
• Deep connections within Rome’s luxury, cultural, and creative communities.
• Passionate, curious, and highly networked with credibility in the local scene.
• Exceptional storytelling, communication, and brand‑building abilities.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
