Material Planning and Purchasing Manager

About the role

Lincotek is seeking a Material Planning and Purchasing Manager to lead the optimisation of material requirements planning (MRP) and procurement activities across its industrial manufacturing sites. The role will focus on configuring SAP parameters, translating sales forecasts into detailed product forecasts, and ensuring seamless collaboration with production, logistics and supply chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise MRP parameters in SAP, including lot sizes, safety stock, lead times and replenishment policies.
• Process sales forecasts from the Sales Department and generate detailed forecasts for each product code.
• Maintain and monitor the SAP forecast management module (likely SAP IBP), analysing deviations between forecast and actual sales.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement and Logistics to align material planning with production schedules.
• Lead procurement of raw materials, mechanical components and subcontracted services, negotiating commercial terms and pricing.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify new suppliers, defining KPIs to monitor quality and performance.
• Supervise the Procurement team, acting as the primary ERP forecasting module user and supporting system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Material Planner, Demand Planner or in a similar supply‑chain role.
• Proven experience managing SAP MRP settings and forecast modules.
