Mechanical Design Engineer – R&D (Full‑time)

About the role

Blupura, a premium water‑cooling and dispensing systems company, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its R&D / Technical Department. Reporting to the R&D Director, you will contribute to innovative product development while ensuring high quality, performance and smooth industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D and 2D models of components and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Select materials and optimise designs to meet technical specifications.
• Analyse existing products for cost reduction and performance improvement.
• Manage technical documentation, including BOMs, drawings and PLM data.
• Coordinate with suppliers to assess manufacturing feasibility and support industrialisation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production and Purchasing teams.
• Conduct product testing, dimensional checks and life‑cycle validation.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and validation activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in a Technical Department, R&D or industrialisation.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and 2D CAD.
• Solid understanding of technical drawing interpretation and tolerances.
• Experience with BOM management and PLM systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as machining, plastic molding, sheet metal and casting.
• Team‑oriented and results‑driven mindset.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time contract
• Salary €30,000 – €35,000 gross per year
