Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Pramac, a Generac Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Head Quarter Engineering Team in Casole d'Elsa, Italy. The role focuses on developing and documenting machine projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting testing and inspection activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project development within established timelines.
• Create construction drawings for machines.
• Prepare bills of materials and technical specifications.
• Communicate component traceability, criticality, assembly cycles, and serial‑plate data to relevant departments.
• Participate in tests and inspections to verify machine functionality.
• Validate product compliance with applicable standards.
• Maintain technical files, spare‑parts lists, and use‑and‑maintenance booklets.
• Process document updates and change requests.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English.
• Strong knowledge of design tools such as FEM simulators and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with quality system procedures.
