Mechanical Production Product Assurance Manager

About the role

Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Mechanical Production Product Assurance Manager to lead quality and assurance activities for mechanical space products. The role operates within the Product Quality organization, focusing on industrialisation, qualification, and continuous improvement of both single‑unit and serial production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Capture project and product requirements and present qualification status.
• Create and update quality documentation in line with customer requirements and the company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support and apply Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and approve engineering technical documentation.
• Monitor qualifications, critical items, and manage quality status across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Participate in internal and customer reviews (EQSR, PDR, CDR, QR, MRR, KIP/MIP, TRR, TRB, DRB) and provide NCR/RFW reports.
• Approve manufacturing drawings and operation sheets, and prepare for customer review meetings.
• Manage non‑conformities (NCRs), conduct root‑cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Alert and communicate any non‑compliance with the QMS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality processes within the space or high‑tech aerospace sector.
• Strong understanding of industrialisation and serial production environments.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work within integrated, cross‑functional teams.
