Media & Communication Specialist – Helmets

About the role

Alpinestars is seeking a Media & Communication Specialist for its Helmets division. You will shape the global narrative around Alpinestars helmets, translating complex safety technology and engineering excellence into clear, engaging stories for media, athletes, and the riding community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the communication strategy for all helmet collections across riding categories.
• Translate technical specifications, safety standards, testing processes and innovations into compelling storytelling.
• Manage press activities, including product launches, press releases and media kits.
• Coordinate helmet testing, reviews and technical briefings with journalists and key opinion leaders.
• Serve as the primary communication contact for test riders, racing teams and brand ambassadors.
• Support athlete‑led storytelling, race visibility and product endorsements while ensuring brand and safety alignment.
• Gather real‑world rider feedback to enrich product narratives.

Required profile

• Solid background in media or communications, preferably within helmets, protective equipment, motorsports or premium technical products.
• Strong network of media contacts and experience with product‑focused storytelling.
• Ability to convey complex engineering and safety topics with clarity and authority.
• Detail‑oriented, precise communicator comfortable working with engineers, athletes and high‑profile media.
• Fluent in English (C1); additional language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for races, product testing and media events.
