Men's Leather Goods Designer

About the role

As a Men’s Leather Goods Designer you will work under the direction of the Men Leather Goods Design Director to create and develop new collections and special projects that reflect Gucci’s modern luxury aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Research current trends, market opportunities and sources of inspiration such as vintage markets, supplier archives, books and online exhibitions.
• Develop initial sketches and detailed drawings based on senior designer input and brand guidelines.
• Produce graphic revisions, colour and material renderings, and create full‑size mock‑ups.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, merchandising and other internal teams to ensure product feasibility and collection coherence.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing specifications, dimensions and solutions to any design challenges.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in luxury leather goods design or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of product development, construction techniques, materials and industrial production processes.
• Excellent free‑hand drawing ability and a solid understanding of fashion history and trends.
• Fluent English and the ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.
