MHC Operator

About the role

Trevi SpA is seeking experienced MHC Operators to work on construction sites across Italy. The role involves operating specialized excavation machinery safely and efficiently while meeting project quality and productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out excavation operations using a bucket and other accessories.
• Set up, operate and maintain complex purpose‑equipped machinery in compliance with company procedures and project specifications.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to equipment use and the surrounding environment.
• Ensure high quality standards of execution and adherence to company policies.
• Manage site productivity and prepare daily reports on machine performance.
• Support the site manager in equipment‑related activities.

Required profile

• Knowledge of onboard instrumentation functionalities and comparison with direct methods (depth, deviations, etc.).
• Familiarity with Method Statements, project quality standards and quality‑control checklists.
• Ability to assess drilling‑mud characteristics and correctly position equipment (layout, direction, stability, use of steel plates).
• Capability to select the most suitable technical solution for given site conditions.
• Proficiency in using excavation accessories such as hammers and chisels.
• Skill in balancing excavation speed with execution quality and controlling verticality.
