Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

E.ON is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join its Digital & Automation team in Italy. You will work on the new E.ON App, a core component of the company’s digital strategy, serving hundreds of thousands of customers and driving self‑service, personalization and AI‑enabled experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile interfaces using React Native and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, scalable components and evolve the design system.
• Integrate with REST APIs, handle state management, data parsing and authentication flows (CIAM, Okta/Auth0).
• Collaborate with Adobe AEM for content integration and work closely with editorial teams.
• Define development guidelines, promote engineering best practices and provide technical direction to external vendor teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, unit testing and continuous improvement processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in mobile development.
• Strong command of English and ability to work with cross‑functional teams across Europe.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on quality, performance and scalability.
