About the role
The National Sales & Site Manager for Italy will lead business development and account management for railway, renewable energy and industrial applications while overseeing the Milan office operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect new clients and manage existing accounts for a portfolio of electrical and electronic safety components.
- Collaborate with sales teams, product line managers, product development, marketing and other business units.
- Organise and lead key business meetings, provide market feedback and identify new market opportunities.
- Develop business cases, product launch and market placement plans.
- Provide technical expertise, analyse customer requests and deliver tailored offers.
- Develop after‑sales services and support.
- Act as local site coordinator for the Milan office (≈20% of time), ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, hosting employees and visitors, and handling administrative and compliance tasks.
Required profile
- Technical degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Power Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of successful technical and sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
- Proven track record introducing power products to new international clients.
- Good knowledge of at least one sector: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy or e‑mobility.
- Strong interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems.
- Excellent analytical, project‑management and problem‑solving skills.
