National Sales & Site Manager Italy

About the role

As the National Sales & Site Manager for Italy, you will drive business growth across railway, renewable energy and industrial markets while overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of our Milan office.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new clients and manage existing accounts for railway, renewable energy and industrial applications.
• Collaborate with sales teams, product line managers, product development, marketing and other business units.
• Organise and lead key business meetings, provide market feedback and identify new market opportunities.
• Develop business cases, product launch and market placement plans.
• Offer technical expertise, analyse customer requests and deliver tailored offers.
• Develop after‑sales services and support.
• Act as local site coordinator for the Milan office (≈20% of time), ensuring smooth operations, hosting visitors and handling administrative/compliance tasks.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Power Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of successful technical sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
• Proven track record introducing power products to international clients.
• Good knowledge of at least one sector: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy or e‑mobility.
• Strong interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems.
• Excellent analytical, project‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
