Near Patient Nurse – Naples (1-year Fixed-Term)

About the role

International SOS is seeking a Near Patient Nurse to join its TRICARE Overseas Program in Naples. The role is a one-year fixed-term position, with the possibility of extension, and combines clinical expertise with on-site case-management responsibilities across civilian and military health facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive in-patient clinical case management in line with International SOS standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with medical and administrative providers, both internal and external.
• Visit or contact care providers to obtain updates on patient cases and collect discharge summaries and medical records.
• Liaise directly with patients to gather detailed clinical histories and ensure accurate ongoing case management.
• Support the medical collection team in obtaining necessary documentation from treatment centers.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse or equivalent, licensed to practice in Italy.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
• Own a car and willing to travel to local medical sites.
• Full right to work in Italy.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and a positive “can‑do” attitude.
