Network & Communications Senior Analyst

About the role

Barilla is looking for a Network & Communications Senior Analyst to join its Infrastructure & Communications unit in Parma. The role supports global network and communication infrastructure deployment, design, and management while ensuring compliance with group standards and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical evolution of network and communication infrastructures by proposing innovative ideas and solutions.
• Design and develop network architectures, collaborating on business needs and IT improvement projects.
• Lead project implementation, coordinate resources, budgets and external providers, and maintain up‑to‑date designs and documentation.
• Manage advanced troubleshooting, major incidents, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support tender and supplier management, monitor SLA compliance and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, IT or Computer Science.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in a structured company environment.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
• Strong team‑working attitude, problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel for business trips in Italy and abroad.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of network communication protocols and architectures (LAN, WAN, routing, switching).
• Experience with Wi‑Fi infrastructure, on‑premises and cloud LAN, data‑center architectures.
• Familiarity with network security solutions (NGFW, WAF, VPN, NAC, AAA, ZTNA, SASE/SIG).
• Understanding of unified communications, VoIP and video‑conferencing platforms.
• Use of network performance monitoring and management tools.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) and Microsoft Teams Administration.

What we offer

• Gross annual base salary of at least €38,000, with a variable component.
