New Product Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a New Product Quality Engineer to join the Quality Platform Projects team at Iveco Group. The role supports the development and launch of new commercial vehicle products, ensuring technical quality and reliability throughout the engineering and validation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering throughout new product development.
• Develop an in‑depth understanding of all technical content.
• Verify and support the proper execution of FMEAs and their integration into DVPs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Validation during all test phases.
• Analyze issues, contribute to problem solving and ensure effective resolution.
• Monitor implementation of solutions against project milestones.
• Assess the robustness and reliability of technical solutions.
• Maintain awareness of past projects, lessons learned, known risks and previously identified issues.
• Train and align the Current Quality Team during industrialization and launch, transferring knowledge of the new vehicle.
• Manage daily issues in the DIM system, ensuring completeness of each phase and adherence to timelines.
• Lead weekly follow‑up meetings.
• Ensure strong knowledge of electric vehicles and their operating logic.
• Collaborate with Launch Management and Plant Quality Team during vehicle launch and industrialization.

Required profile

• University degree in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in engineering or validation.
• Knowledge of components for heavy trucks and general commercial vehicle technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work positively under stress and emergencies.
• Willingness to travel 30‑40% of the time.
