Operational Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Operational Procurement professional to ensure the timely availability of components for our high‑voltage power transmission production lines. The role supports the manufacturing plant in Italy, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep material flows aligned with production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage material procurement activities, creating purchase requisitions and orders while verifying delivery feasibility with suppliers.
• Monitor material availability, follow up on order confirmations and maintain accurate material planning parameters in the ERP system.
• Analyse supply‑chain performance data such as inventory levels, forecast accuracy and material coverage, and propose improvement actions.
• Track supplier delivery performance and support handling of material flows related to quality issues.
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives, including Kanban implementation and optimisation of material management processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in material planning, procurement or supply‑chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of material procurement and inventory management processes.
• Proficiency in English and fluency in Italian.
• Excellent problem‑solving, planning and organisational abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
