Operations Associate for International Freight Forwarding

About the role

K&M Plus S.r.l. is seeking an Operations Associate with solid experience in international freight forwarding. The role is based on‑site at the company office in Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan) and involves supporting the full logistics chain for a variety of cargo types.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sea and air transport services for customer shipments.
• Coordinate inland transport, including truck, rail, multimodal, and feeder arrangements.
• Handle customs clearance procedures.
• Oversee project and break‑bulk cargo handling, as well as LCL consolidation.
• Support supply chain management activities and invoicing processes.

Required profile

• Rapid learner with a logical mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English and Italian.
• Available to work onsite Monday‑Friday at the Cernusco sul Naviglio office.
• Current or previous experience as an Operations Associate or in a similar logistics role, with proven involvement in the activities listed above.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
