Operations Coordinator UK & Ireland

About the role

The Operations Coordinator for the UK & Ireland will support Move Language Ahead’s seasonal language programmes, ensuring smooth recruitment, logistics and vendor management. Working remotely, you will act as a key link between UK operations and other departments to deliver high‑quality educational experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, selection and onboarding of UK & Ireland operations staff.
• Create and update job descriptions and post advertisements for operational roles.
• Maintain accurate applicant records and manage the hiring workflow.
• Oversee seasonal operations, including transport, timetables, attractions and venue bookings.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics for programme delivery.
• Handle administrative and clerical tasks related to programme execution.
• Represent Move Language Ahead’s values and act as liaison between UK operations and other departments.

Required profile

• UK passport or right to work in the UK and a valid DBS (England & Wales) or PVG (Scotland); criminal record check if residing abroad.
• Proven suitability to work with students under 18, demonstrated by at least two references.
• Proficiency in standard IT tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Education, International Relations or related field (desirable).
• Experience in operations, programme coordination, education services or international programmes.
• Experience working with students, host institutions or international partners.
• Previous responsibility for managing a strict operating budget.
