Operations Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the technical functions of our plant in Gemonio, Italy. You will translate strategic directives into actionable plans, drive continuous improvement, and ensure a safe, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise production, planning, engineering, maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
• Convert Plant Manager’s strategy into clear operational plans and monitor execution.
• Lead, develop and motivate cross‑functional technical teams.
• Track key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve quality, efficiency and cost.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Plan resources, timelines and budgets to meet quality standards.
• Act as the primary technical and managerial point of reference for plant operations.
• Champion safety by promoting awareness, training and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Plant Manager and EHS Manager on workforce planning and employee health and safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant operations, manufacturing or industrial management with responsibility across multiple technical functions.
• Strong leadership ability to manage, motivate and develop teams in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Demonstrated capability to improve operational performance through KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of workplace safety regulations, quality standards and best practices in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across operational functions.
