Operations Test System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Test System Engineer to act as the Product Owner for our test systems in the e‑mobility manufacturing environment. You will work closely with development, R&D, laboratory and production teams to ensure reliable commissioning, validation and integration of test equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control test systems throughout production, joint commissioning, validation and integration.
• Plan, monitor and report timelines for the creation and deployment of test systems.
• Introduce, monitor and optimise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for test operations.
• Coordinate activities with R&D, laboratory and production to align test content and processes.
• Support the creation and maintenance of process and control plans, optimising test content.
• Define improvement measures based on statistical evaluations to increase test depth, stability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in electronic engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering or automation engineering.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German or Italian is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in test engineering.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Result‑oriented mindset with strong goal‑driving capabilities.
