People & Culture Manager – Italy

About the role

The People & Culture Manager will lead HR activities for Konecranes in Italy, supporting roughly 265 employees across multiple legal entities. Based in Agrate Brianza, you will shape local HR operations, drive employee engagement, and partner with senior business leaders to align people strategies with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Implement global and Italy‑specific people strategies.
• Partner with Managing Directors and business leaders on all people‑related matters.
• Lead, coach, and develop a local P&C team of two professionals.
• Manage employee‑relations risk and advise on labour legislation and collective bargaining.
• Oversee Works Council activities and day‑to‑day HR service delivery.
• Drive change programmes, continuous improvement, and digitalisation of HR processes.
• Use data, metrics and KPIs to inform decisions and ensure compliance with local regulations and global standards.

Required profile

• Authentic, approachable leader with a global mindset.
• Minimum 10 years progressive HR experience, preferably in an international, matrixed environment.
• Deep knowledge of Italian employment law and collective agreements.
• Proven ability to lead, influence and develop teams in fast‑paced settings.
• Strong change‑management and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure and ambiguity.
