People & Culture Manager

About the role

Mama Shelter, a hotel brand owned by Ennismore, is looking for a People & Culture Manager for its Lake Como property. The role is described as the HR ambassador for a team of around 100 people, supporting the General Manager duo and keeping the team supported, heard, inspired and empowered.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the HR point of contact on site, covering talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll supervision, compliance, culture building and leadership support.
• Attract and retain talent, support leaders in building high-performing teams and create a fun, caring and efficient workplace.
• Work with the Global People & Culture team to align local HR policy with local laws and Ennismore culture.

Required profile

• Fluent Italian and comfortable English.
• Approachable, trustworthy and able to speak with both team members and senior leaders.
• Strong recruiting skills and ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and emotional intelligence.
• Experience identifying training needs and coordinating with training partners.

Required skills

• Comfortable working with data, KPIs and benchmarking.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and digital tools.
