About the role
The Pharmacy Account Specialist will manage a portfolio of pharmacies, chains and groups across the Potenza and Salerno territories. The role focuses on implementing Sandoz’s corporate strategy, driving sales of generic medicines, and supporting pharmacists through training and marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the territory manager, identifying and prioritising target pharmacies based on company segmentation.
- Set and achieve sales, efficiency and performance targets for each client within agreed timelines.
- Select and execute initiatives within budget to meet client needs.
- Develop and lead negotiation strategies to maximise financial outcomes.
- Design and deliver a mix of marketing campaigns, commercial presentations and training modules tailored to the local market.
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Meet coverage, contact and frequency objectives, optimising communication channels autonomously.
- Provide timely data, reports and analyses for regional meetings.
- Support digital initiatives and manage related consents.
- Represent Sandoz’s ethics and values, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a sales representative or similar role in the generics pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven ability to manage a territory and achieve sales objectives.
- Strong understanding of the local pharmacy market and generic medicine positioning.
- Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
