Pharmacy Account Specialist – Territory Management

About the role
The Pharmacy Account Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of pharmacies, chains and groups within the assigned territory. The role combines commercial negotiations, marketing campaign implementation, pharmacist training and initiatives that promote the uptake of generic medicines across Italy.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the territory manager, identifying and prioritising target pharmacies based on company segmentation.
- Define and achieve sales, efficiency and performance objectives for each client within agreed timelines.
- Select and execute initiatives that best support client needs while respecting the allocated budget.
- Develop and lead negotiation strategies to maximise economic outcomes for each pharmacy.
- Design and implement a client‑management plan that blends marketing campaigns, commercial presentations and training modules.
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and meet coverage frequency targets.
- Provide timely data, reports and analyses for area meetings.
- Support digital initiatives and manage related consents.
- Represent Sandoz ethics and values, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative or in other roles within the generic pharmaceuticals sector.
- Strong knowledge of the local pharmacy market and generic medicine dynamics.
- Ability to collect and analyse market and competitor information.
- Proactive, independent working style with excellent relationship‑building skills.
