Plant Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Plant Supply Chain Manager to lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function at our Forlì facility. The role ensures efficient planning, procurement, logistics and warehouse operations while balancing cost and service levels to meet on‑time delivery and lead‑time targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Plant Manager in defining short‑, medium‑ and long‑term supply chain objectives and translate plant KPIs into actionable logistics indicators.
• Implement corporate supply chain policies locally and ensure compliance across all plant functions.
• Own planning and supply chain operations, monitoring inventory, capacity allocation, lead times, procurement and transportation.
• Oversee master production planning, warehouse management and coordination with external suppliers.
• Drive performance against Available‑to‑Promise, On‑Time Delivery and inventory investment targets.
• Prepare, propose and manage the plant‑level supply chain budget, monitor variances and implement corrective actions.
• Lead a team of six professionals covering material planning, machining and assembly production planning, logistics and warehouse management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in complex production environments with capacity constraints and variable lead times.
• Strong decision‑making ability to balance cost and service under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross‑functional teams (Production, Sales, Procurement).
• Data‑driven mindset with solid analytical skills to identify root causes and improve operational efficiency.
• Track record of delivering measurable results in OTD, lead‑time and inventory performance.
