Process Engineer – Process Development

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer – Process Development to create innovative, sustainable manufacturing solutions for next‑generation medical devices. You will work in an interdisciplinary team, turning concepts into series‑production processes while ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop efficient, future‑oriented manufacturing concepts for modern medical devices.
• Design production processes with a focus on quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies for innovative manufacturing solutions.
• Support the transfer of new processes into series production and ensure smooth implementation.
• Plan, coordinate and execute development trials independently, then analyse the results.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects and maintain clear, traceable documentation.

Required profile

• Completed degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., materials science, chemistry, physics, mechanical engineering).
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Initial experience in project management is an advantage.
• Proficiency with common MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel approximately five days per month within the DACH region.
• Analytical, structured working style with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Initiative, team spirit and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary projects.
