Product Certification Auditor – Construction Products

About the role

We are looking for a Product Certification Auditor to lead product certification assessments for construction products across Poland, Italy or Spain. The role is field‑based, requiring travel to manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with BSI’s certification schemes and Kitemark standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product certification audits in construction product manufacturing environments.
• Prepare assessment reports, communicate findings to clients and recommend corrective actions.
• Recommend issuance, re‑issuance or withdrawal of certificates in line with BSI policies.
• Maintain account responsibility, foster client partnerships and drive service growth.
• Lead and brief audit teams, coach junior assessors and support new colleague induction.
• Plan and schedule workloads to maximise revenue‑generating activities.
• Attend required training and adhere to BSI procedures for client and office management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in product auditing, preferably within construction product manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, especially ISO 9001.
• Willingness to undertake extensive onboarding to achieve Lead Assessor status.
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel regularly.
