Product Design Manager – Luxury Hardware & Jewelry (Italy)

About the role

Yibi Group, a premium OEM partner for global luxury brands, is looking for a Product Design Manager to lead end‑to‑end design and creative development for its European luxury clients. Based in Italy, you will act as the main liaison between the China headquarters and the Italian market, delivering design solutions that reflect local aesthetics and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tailored product design concepts for luxury hardware, jewelry and fashion accessories, integrating Italian and European aesthetic trends.
• Manage full project cycles from initial sketches and CAD modeling to prototype validation and production hand‑off.
• Present design proposals and detailed specifications to European clients, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Research luxury design trends, materials, and craftsmanship to drive continuous product line iteration.
• Coordinate cross‑functional communication between the China HQ, local sales, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
• Guarantee compliance with EU and Italian safety regulations, industry craft standards, and global brand guidelines.
• Optimize local design workflows, material libraries, and case resources to standardize operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of product design experience in luxury jewelry, high‑end fashion, or luxury hardware.
• Proven experience working with the Italian/European luxury market and familiarity with top Italian luxury brand standards.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mainstream design tools such as CAD.
• Experience using Rhinoceros (Rhino) for 3D modeling.
