Product Owner Finance

About the role

The company is seeking a Product Owner Finance to ensure the reliability of manufacturing controlling operations across its Italian sites. You will act as the primary liaison between finance, controlling, manufacturing, and IT teams, driving the design and delivery of industrial transformation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee daily reliability of manufacturing controlling processes (costs, margins, inventory, closing).
• Serve as the first functional point of contact for Finance & Controlling teams.
• Maintain data consistency across cost, margin, inventory, and closing information.
• Define target vision and solution design for industrial transformation programs.
• Lead and coordinate controlling projects from scoping to business adoption.
• Own and prioritize the Controlling functional backlog (incidents, enhancements, projects).
• Drive improvements on costing models, master data, and financial flows.
• Ensure alignment with central standards, templates, and governance.
• Support solution adoption, documentation, and change management.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering or Information Systems.
• 3‑7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on finance or controlling IS projects.
• Strong exposure to manufacturing controlling (costing, margins, inventory, closing).
• Experience in complex, multi‑site industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to translate finance business needs into functional requirements.
• Structured, analytical mindset with strong ownership.

Required skills

• SAP CO/FI (experience with ERP/Finance systems).
• NTS (plus).
• Jira and Confluence.
• Agile methodology.
