Product Quality Specialist

About the role

Iveco Group is looking for a Product Quality Specialist to act as the bridge between Quality, Engineering, Platform, Manufacturing and Service teams. You will monitor battery performance, analyse field data and drive continuous improvement to ensure safe, reliable, high‑performance products.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor battery performance and quality KPIs across development, production and in‑field operation.
• Analyse warranty cases, returned components and field data to spot trends or deviations.
• Lead structured problem‑solving activities (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA) and implement corrective actions.
• Support design reviews and validation with quality insights.
• Collaborate with Engineering on design updates, software improvements and performance enhancements.
• Work with Supplier Quality and Manufacturing to verify process stability and component conformity.
• Maintain quality documentation such as control plans, validation requirements and technical reports.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive or powertrain quality roles.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving orientation and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive attitude with ownership and continuous‑improvement focus.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Quality methods: 8D, FMEA, SPC.
• Automotive quality standards: ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
• Data analysis and interpretation of large datasets.
