Production Quality Supervisor – Central Italy

About the role

The Production Quality Supervisor will be the local reference for Hermès’ MRTW (Men’s Ready‑to‑Wear) quality teams in Central Italy. Based in Milan, you will work closely with finished‑product suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that all products meet Hermès’ quality standards throughout industrialisation, launch and ongoing production.

Key responsibilities

• Support suppliers during product industrialisation, flagging risks and quality issues early.
• Maintain a regular on‑site presence at Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers across Central Italy to monitor action plans and quality indicators.
• Validate deviations from established standards in collaboration with French manufacturing teams.
• Manage non‑quality returns, coordinate repair activities and provide technical guidance to manufacturers.
• Lead product inspections at partner sites and communicate progress on quality topics.
• Assess supplier capabilities against Hermès’ quality requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production quality supervision within a manufacturing or fashion environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes, traceability and HSE compliance.
• Ability to travel regularly across Central Italy and work closely with both local and French teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Italian language proficiency is essential.
